Red Ironbark is an ornamental tree with dark furrowed bark and weeping, grey-green foliage.
In winter and spring it produces a profusion of pink flowers emerging from diamond shaped buds Ideal for windbreaks, roadside and rural plantings.
It is suitable for large home gardens and parks and best grown in a sunny open position in moist well drained soil. Tolerates poor, shallow clayey soils, drought and smog.
